Summer Reading Program Begins June 1st!

Columbus Public Library will begin registration for the summer reading program on June 1st to July 19th.

There will be a children, teen, and adult program.

Ages Pre-K to 5th Grade: Read 30 minutes a day and color in your bubble; you will receive your first bubble sheet when you sign up for summer reading. You will get a certificate when you have read 30 hours. We will have a drawing for a prize at the end party for those who have finished the summer reading program!

The Children’s Activities for June: Children’s programs begin at 10AM!

Friday, June 7th: Egg-citing plants and garden gnomes!

Friday, June 14th: Vegetable Root Printing

SPECIAL: Wednesday, June 19th — Storyteller Rosie Cutrer

Friday, June 21st: Construction Work — Big Movers

Friday, June 28th: Brassart Rabbits — Show Rabbits!

Grades 6th-12th: Read 60 minutes a day and come to our awesome programs for teens. You will get a certificate when you have read 30 hours. We will have a drawing for a prize at the end party for those who have finished the summer reading program!

June Teen Activities: All programs will begin at 2PM

Thursday, June 13th: Design Your Own T-shirt (please bring your own color t-shirt)

Thursday, June 20th: Yoga Stretches

Thursday, June 27th: Clay Pot Smash

 

July Activities will be posted near the end of June…the fun’s not over yet!
