Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Dunlap. I am a student at Missouri Southern State University. I am studying Health Science and Dental Hygiene. I am very excited to be starting this new job here at the library!

We’ve put a lot of work into planning this event. Hope to see you all in our newly painted and fully restored facility.

Today marks the start of Summer Reading with our teen program beginning at 2PM with Worry Stones. Come and visit us and don’t forget that the kid’s programs begin tomorrow at 10AM with Egg-Citing Plants and Garden Gnomes!
Also be sure to come pick up your reading time counter tomorrow to start counting your books!

Columbus Public Library will begin registration for the summer reading program on June 1st to July 19th.
There will be a children, teen, and adult program.
Ages Pre-K to 5th Grade: Read 30 minutes a day and color in your bubble; you will receive your first bubble sheet when you sign up for summer reading. You will get a certificate when you have read 30 hours. We will have a drawing for a prize at the end party for those who have finished the summer reading program!
